Gorgeous! I love the feminine outfit accented with the more masculine LL Bean boots.

OBSESSED with this outfit! It makes me so happy when other girls wear Bean Boots. The trend is thankfully (and finally) taking off in the South, so I am no longer alone.

    Gorgeous photos, too!

So cute, Sarah! I have worn these boots for 2 decades now! We used to call them Duck boots. Do people still say that ? And I don't tie the laces either! xoxo Wendy

Hi Wendy!I hear people call them Duck boots or Bean boots. They have been very popular/trendy the past couple of years. This pair did not fit me. I just put on my friend Brendan's so I could go out in the snow.

incredibly gorgeous! Kiel's herringbone blazer is fantastic with your dress. any chance we can see what the top of the dress looks like without the blazer?

Thank you Shannon! If you check out Azimuth circle on Tumblr there are pictures of me wearing the dress in other instances.

Major boot love, Vickers. Can you tell me, if I am a half size, whether I should go up or down? I wanted to purchase a pair, but I was worried that I would have to play mail tag with Freeport if they didn't quit fit… Got camp mocs instead.

Great post! I'm amazed at how you managed to pull off the cocktail dress with boots! Love everything about it. I love how this blog shows that pearls aren't just for your grandma and you do not necessarily need to always be in high heels to look good…

Perhaps the red eye in the first picture could be edited? It looks rather scary as if there is a vampire in the background lusting after you.
