Woke up, coffee and headed over to the Leather Factory in Fall River, MA.

Carlos gave me a sneak peak of the latest luxurious hide colors he recently developed. Very excited to get designing for Fall!

I met with leather craftsman Frank Clegg to check out the rest of his latest Tuscany Collection.

A girl can never have TOO many bags. Right??

I picked up a batch of our leather belt tabs to bring back for our stitchers.

Dropped by the button manufacturer to pick up freshly struck anchors and buttons.

Back at the factory we worked until the wee hours of the night and nicely packaged up many a package.
Love it all!!

ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a ton of work! It is really cool though for you to share a sneak peek of the process. Mr. Clegg is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm always working but fortunately it doesn't feel like work.It was nice to be able to share! I enjoy meeting with people in the industry. Frank Clegg is probably the sweetest and most talented man around.
DeleteHow interesting! You are so fortunate to have so many of your suppliers close by!
ReplyDeleteSourcing production is never easy! It took a while to develop the relationships we are fortunate to now have. Nothing beats being able to drop by and see the process first hand with people you enjoy talking to :)
DeleteWow, those bags are so sumptuous! They look fab.
ReplyDeleteMy father was born in Fall River, and grew up in Tiverton RI. So this place is close to my heart! I can't believe such great bags came out of little ol' Portuguese Fall River:) Love your blog BTW!
