The Perfectly Packable Hunter Tour Boots

February has arrived, and I’ve reached the point where winter has lost its
idyllic appeal. I’ve had my fill of skiing, hot chocolate, and heavy
jackets. Dressing for this time of year can be a little discouraging
when every shop window is an ode to spring, and a New England winter
calls for comfort and practicality.

There are days I throw common sense out the window and slip on a pair of
bright heels, garnering a few stares from the older generations who love
to remark that just looking at my feet makes them cold. On the in
between days I’ve been walking around in the new Hunter Tour Boots. As
shown in the pictures above they can be dressed up or down, worn in rain
or snow, and are lighter/less clunky than the original Hunter style.
This is ideal for me because I tend to do a lot of running around the
office and the Tour Boots don’t make my feet swelter even with the
liners on.The other thing I really like about them is that they are so
easy to pack. I go away at least once or twice a month and “aim” to
bring only one weekend bag with me. The Hunter Tour boots fold over and
leave plenty of room, perfect in case I overpack or pick up a few new
pieces along the way.

A pair of these are going to be ideal for my when I move back to England. My life there involved constantly hopping on the train back and forth between a rather (at times) muddy country farm and the streets of London, and I had to leave my Hunters in the country because they were impossible to take on the train, which meant cold and wet feet when it snowed in the city!

I love Hunters but making them more travel friendly is definitely an improvement. I'll still love my Original Tall boots but I'm adding these to my list of things to buy.

OoOoo didn't know about those hunters! I hate how heavy the original tall boots are and so I tend to try not to wear them unless I absolutely have to – these look like a good alternative!!
