It’s
finally starting to feel like winter in New England. I layered up today
with a Vince sweater and Kate Spade Turtleneck from Nordstrom. (In case you are wondering if I’m cold, I’m wearing a pair of sheer tights with this outfit.) While  I was in Nordstrom
I also couldn’t resist stocking up on winter wear for an upcoming ski
trip. Here are some of my favorite cold weather items this season:

Love how the sweater and skirt combined to look like a classy chic color-block dress, so amazing! And love the fur detail of the coat, very pretty design!

    Hi Sarah,

You look especially adorable in these pics… It looks like you had a blast on this shoot. I am wondering about your tights – I love that they are not shiny but you link goes to Wolford tights that are super shiny. Are your tights really DKNY? I have been looking for matte nude tights for ages…

    Thanks! Suzanne

Those tights still don't look like they'd add too much warmth to me, but I'll take your word for it. Plus, I find people from the Northeast can handle a lot more chill than people from other places – they have to be able to, haha. How thick are the tights in person?
