Oh I’m an American Girl

Dress: Camilyn Beth ℅  Sandals: Tory Burch Bag: Tory Burch ℅  Bracelets: Kiel James Patrick (coming soon), Tory Burch Glasses: Kate Spade (similar)  Hat: J.Crew Lipstick: Stila // Venezia

Last week Kiel and I stayed at Winvian Farm, tucked away in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. The resort is owned and run by the Smith Family who purchased the property in 1948. Featured in this post is the main house and heart of the estate.  Built in 1775, It oozes quintessential New England charm. The Smith family spent their summers and long weekends at Winvian until deciding to turn it into a luxurious retreat seven years ago. It is complete with spa, organic gardens, and eighteen individually designed resort cottages for guests to stay in. One guest described the property as “Norman Rockwell meets Alice and Wonderland” and I will have to agree. (I will be sharing more on my stay in an upcoming post. For now I recommend checking out the cottages on the Winvian Farm website. They are unique in the best way!)

The main house currently serves as the resort reception and restaurant. Not featured is the gorgeous addition to the house. It includes a silo staircase leading to the restaurant constructed with wood beams from old barns. I wore this Camilyn Beth dress to a delicious farm to table dinner. It happened to be on Flag Day, but I can’t think of a more perfect dress to wear on the 4th of July.
Special thank you to Winvian Farm for our stay!
