Last weekend Kiel and I were invited to spend a couple of days at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. It was nice to be on the Island during September as we usually visit the Vineyard solely in the summer. The weather was rainy and humid, but still cool enough to throw on a sweater and jeans. We did a little shopping in Edgartown and had the best time exploring the island. On Sunday we drove up to Aquinnah to see the cliffs. They were absolutely stunning, but what I loved most was the scenic drive to get there. We drove by so many beautiful farms and rock walls. I wanted to stop and photograph nearly everything we passed.

On our way back from Aquinnah, we stopped at a small fishing village called Menemsha for lunch. I enjoyed the most delicious lobster roll from Menemsha Galley. It was made entirely of fresh claw meat and a little bit of lettuce on a buttered roll, just the way I like it. We ordered our lunch to go and settled down on one of the neighboring fishing docks. The village looked almost too perfect to be real and definitely worth a visit.

On the last morning of our trip we ate a leisurely breakfast at the Lighthouse Grille, followed by a bike ride to the Edgartown Lighthouse, located directly across from our hotel. It was a great way to start the day.

Special thank you to Harbor View Hotel for our wonderful stay!

I love sea, live by the sea, and the anchor sign is the lovely one for me 🙂 That sweater is really beautiful, the colour of sea – blue. These photos of yours is full of romantic. I would like to travel like that and have some experiences. Also I would like to find this sweater on my fashion shop
