Earlier this summer during our stay at the 506 0n the River Inn in Woodstock, VT, Kiel and I took a pottery making class at Farmhouse Pottery located on Route 4. It was such a great experience and a fun way to spend a couple of hours. The studio/retail space is highly recommended for those visiting Woodstock. You will not leave empty handed! I was very impressed with the store aesthetic. Every product is meticiously curated and the hand-dipped pottery could not be more gorgeous, especially if you are into rustic chic. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the resident chickens walking around the property.

I love that each and every piece of pottery sold by Farmhouse Pottery is made on site by a dedicated team of skilled craftsmen who work alongside the company’s founders, a husband and wife duo Zoe and James Zilian. It’s always special to encounter a group of people who are really passionate about what they do. We loved getting to spend time learning about their craft. If you have a chance to visit make sure to sign up for one of the workshops. The pottery making class is a worthwhile experience.

(Last picture was taken at the Mill at Simon Pearce  restaurant, another must if you are in the Woodstock area. Simon Pearce has a beautiful line of glassware and offers glassblowing  demonstrations on site.)

FYI – Not sure if you're aware – but your formatting in Bloglovin is wrapping words around the last photo so it's unreadable.
