Coat: Reiss  Sweater: Topshop Jeans: Current Elliott Bag: Tory Burch (sold out // also love it in this style) Boots: Sigerson Morrison Hat: Anthropologie (similar) Scarf: Purchased in Ireland Gloves: J.Crew Factory (similar style)

Location: Hallstatt, Austria

Over
the holidays Kiel and I, along with our friends Jeremy and Kat rented a
car and traveled around Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. It was a ten
day trip and we covered a lot of ground. One of our stops
was Hallstatt, Austria’s oldest village and a UNESCO world heritage
site. I don’t think I have ever seen a more picture perfect place. The
entire time I felt like I was in Hogsmeade or a quaint Disney village.
The sights were magical. If I didn’t already live on a lake, this
village would have convinced me that life on a lake was the life for
me.

The
weather was brisk and overcast, but we were comfortably bundled up for a
walk around town. You can easily see everything in a couple of hours.
There’s a  charming sight around every corner. If you visit you will definitely want to have your camera ready.

It is wonderful to see a young couple in love enjoying a winter holiday. Last year my husband
and I visited Rothenburg Germany in January. Very similar, and an easy drive from Frankfurt.
(My spelling may be off.) If you visit Germany include this lovely village.

Beautiful pictures! I was in Hallstatt in May and it's one of the most magical places I have ever seen! Looks stunning in the winter, I'd love to visit Austria when it's snowing too.

I was going to comment that this looked a quaint town out of Frozen the Disney movie…right before I saw you said the same thing! And oh my heart…your dainty monogrammed pearl necklace is #everything. I will be following up…maybe on my Valentine's wish list? XOX

This place feels like it could only exist in a fairy tale! It also reminds me of the movie Frozen. Maybe that's why 🙂
