Book and Bark Club

Shirt: Abound Jeans: Frame Shoes: J.Crew (old, similar; also love these

Who wants to join our book & bark club? I’m “slowly” re-reading one of my favorites Jane Eyre. Between Harry, work, and the normal rhythm of my life there hasn’t been too much time for reading these days. I’m typically one of those people that can’t put a book down once I pick it up. In times like these where I don’t have the time to finish a book I will cheat to find out the ending by skipping ahead or reading the last page. Truly awful! I decided the best way to avoid ruining what could be a potential favorite book is to re-read some of my all time favorites where I already know the ending and can be content to return to some of my characters world’s at a much slower pace. The Time Traveler’s WifeThe Help, and Flowers for Algernon are on my list of books to read again. (I probably read the Harry Potter series every year! Also anything by Jane Austen). What are some of your favorite books to return to?

Flowers for Algernon was one of my favorite books growing up! I always find myself re-reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I was required to read it in high school and it's been one of those books I'll pick up and re-read often.

It's such a good read. One of my high school required books as well.

Sarah, sorry to say I've never read Jane Eyre (eek! I know!), but it's on my bucket list of books.
I was literally laughing out loud at you reading with your dog. Now I want a picture of my pug and me reading together!!
I'm into suspense and thrillers now for the moment, I also enjoy historical fiction. One book I love to go back to is Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood!

I LOVE rereading Jane Eyre and Jane Austen! I will personally reread Frankenstein by Mary Shelley every and any opportunity. Also, A Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, that was a required read my senior year of high school and it’s one of the best dystopians!
