Month: December 2013
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I received the two best gifts I could ever dream of for Christmas this year; a trip to Ireland and this beautiful walk in closet. I leave for Ireland tonight and look forward to celebrating the New Year there. (Packing at the very last minute was a challenge.) I wish you all the very best for 2014!

Kiel and I had a wonderful Holiday season leading up to Christmas day and wanted to share a few photos via Instagram. From gift wrapping and exchanging, Christmas parties with friends and family, to an eggnog date excursion, this truly has been the most wonderful time of the year.
Dressing for winter weather can be challenging! I don’t always like having to keep a winter jacket in mind when putting together an outfit in the morning. For this look, I layered with solids and decided to add a pop of color with my sweater, bold lips and watch. I collaborated with Lucky Magazine and Sperry Top-Sider for a second feature highlighting Sperry’s new Hayden watch, the ideal accessory to pair with this outfit. The rose gold watch face and finishings maintain a feminine look, while the striped strap gives the watch the same practicality and durability of the brand’s classic boat shoes.
The new line of watches adds just the right touch of nautical flair to get me through the winter.

The snowfall this weekend was magical! It was perfect to take pictures for my latest post featuring the Banana Republic x L’Wren Scott collaboration. Their collection is both girly and glamorous with
sequins, faux fur shrugs, and lipstick print on silk blouses and
clutches. I felt very winter glam in this outfit, especially with the
touch of fur on my jacket and the bold striped blouse.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection:
Look at that sea, girls–all silver and shadow and vision of things not seen. We couldn’t enjoy its loveliness any more if we had millions of dollars and ropes of diamonds. – Anne of Green Gables
Living in RI, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by the sea and all its loveliness. On this particular day, I was dressed for mild weather in Providence where it’s almost always freezing in December. I had also teamed up with Lucky Magazine and Sperry Top-sider to showcase Sperry’s timeless new line of watches that incorporates many of the same elements of their beloved boat shoes, including their signature skip lace, grommets, and weathered leather.

Classic, luxurious, modern; The New York Palace
seamlessly combines contemporary and Gilded Age decor. It was my first
time staying at the hotel and I was in awe over the intricate
craftsmanship and detail found in the Villard Restaurant (you
might recognize it from Gossip Girl), Library, and Villard Ballroom.
