Our recent Mother’s Day weekend visit to Mohonk Mountain House was like stepping back in time to a bygone era summer camp. The resort gave me Dirty Dancing meets Hogwarts Castle vibes minus the dancing and wizards. Isolated in the Shawangunk Mountains on the shore of Lake Mohonk, the camp is a playground for hiking, swimming, and row boating enthusiasts. It’s the perfect place to turn off the phone and unwind — surrounded by such stunning natural beauty it’s nearly impossible not to.
The unofficial first weekend of Summer is upon us! Kiel, Harry, and I are headed to the Vineyard for our upcoming stay at the newly renovated Harborview Hotel. We haven’t been to the island in a while and I’m excited to return. Hopefully the weather is warm! I love packing for this weekend as it’s usually the first time in the season that I can break out all of my nautical stripes, summer sweaters, white pants, and summery dresses. I like to keep my Memorial Day weekend travel attire casual but polished.
