A Pretty Suite trip to NYC

When in NYC, Waldorf Astoria is our home away from home.

Royal Suite

“Preesie” Duke and Duchess of Windor’s Pug
Never had any real trouble communicating until now.

JFK left his rocker to the Waldorf in the Presidential suite.

It was an honor.

To think president Reagan had probably ordered a turkey club from this very desk.

Headed out to celebrate the night.  Cheers.

Oh my thanks for these pictures. We were at the Waldorf Astoria in May with our daughters and it was the perfect place. I love it there and it did feel like our home-away-from-home.
I did not know they had JFK's rocker, how wonderful!

I've never commented before, but I want to tell you that I follow your blog faithfully. I often covet items you're wearing, and almost as often follow the links you provide to buy them for myself! I can't stop coveting your Frank Clegg signature satchel. Gorgeous bag. If only I weren't on a grad student budget! Which color do you own, btw? After all, a girl can dream…

    • Sarah Vickers on September 20, 2012 at 7:51 am

Thank you! Every bag I own by Frank is in the Cognac leather. I have a hard time straying away from that color…

Sarah – did you and Kiel actually stay in the presidential suite? I thought it wasn't open to the public.

    • Sarah Vickers on September 20, 2012 at 7:48 am

      Hi Kate,
This post is a compilation of the suite we stayed in (shown in top picture, and in the one with the long table, champagne glasses, etc), and the Royal and Presidential Suites which the Waldorf kindly gave us a tour of. The public can stay in both the Royal and Presidential Suite.
