Waiting for the Great Pumpkin to Arrive

Scenes from last night’s movie night while we await our Great Pumpkin to arrive. Since so many asked me for the “recipe” for our snack mix I decided to share it in this post along with a few of my must have cozy socks, pajamas, and plaid throws.

The snack mix is really just a combination of our favorite snacks tossed together. I will warn you it’s impossible to stop eating. I had to hide it from sight this morning.

 Here is what we included:

Chex Mix
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Brach’s Mellowcreme Autumn Mix
Reese’s Pieces
Chocolate Toffee Pretzels
Yogurt Pretzels
Reese’s Puff Cereal
Peanut Butter Chips

The fox bowl is an older purchase from Pottery Barn. I featured details on our projector screen setup in this post. We almost exclusively watch everything on this. During the day the screen is up and just before bed we put it down to watch a movie or a tv show. I don’t think I would want to watch TV any other way after having this. We are currently watching X Files. It’s my first time watching it and I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do.

This snack mix looks super good with all of that chocolate. And your projector movie screen for your bedroom is a brilliant idea.

Yum. Where did you get the Chocolate Toffee Pretzels? I think I'll have to make this.

    • Sarah Vickers on October 24, 2017 at 7:36 pm

If you are from Rhode Island they sell them at Dave's Market. I believe they are the Dave's Market brand

Thank you! I'm not in RI, but can probably find something similar in MA.
