Last May I was invited to spend the weekend with the Tommy Hilfiger team in NYC to preview the new Tommy x Gigi line
which was presented by Gigi Hadid and Tommy Hilfiger at the Mark Hotel.
It was an amazing experience to receive a sneak peek of the new line
and some of the inspiration behind it.

is the last official weekend of summer and I was really excited to take

and pumpkins.

I always get excited for Fall style. It’s the season for layering, and I love the textures and earthy colors. This trench cape from Nordstrom is the perfect piece to usher in a new season. It’s light-weight and great for days that start off cool and suddenly heat up.

In my closet there are a few pieces that I just can’t help but return to season after season, year after year. Today I’m sharing a few of my Fall staples that will remain classic, and versatile.
Tweed Skirt: This skirt is a J.Crew 2010 purchase and one of my absolute favorites. It looks great with cable knit sweaters, dressy blouses, turtlenecks — pretty much everything. I shared a few similar styles on the scroll bar below but I love, love this skirt for the very same reason.

This Rebecca Taylor shirt dress was a recent purchase from Nordstrom and it’s one of my favorite new pieces. The slightly scrunched shoulders, lace appliqué detailing, and faux peplum layers creates a romantic and ladylike look.
