On Thanksgiving we took our annual family photos decorating the tree at Kiel’s parents house in New Hampshire. When we first started taking these pictures I was taller than the tree. It has grown so much over the years just like our family. We look forward to taking these pictures every year.

Sharing a couple of holiday looks created with a few pieces from our Kiel James Patrick line. I can’t get enough of tartan this time of year! It instantly makes any ensemble festive and cozy and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the shoes and accessories. Evergreen Snow

Last week Kiel and I spent a few days in Vermont to shoot a few pieces from our Kiel James Patrick holiday collection. The snow really had us in the Christmas spirit. It snowed almost the entire time we were there. It was beautiful! I felt like we were in a snow globe. The pine tree sweater I am wearing in this post is my favorite piece from our new collection. Santa Baby

I always love dressing festively for the holiday season. My holiday wardrobe comes out of storage the day after Halloween and I continue to wear Christmas sweaters and holiday tartans right on through New Year’s. With Harry my love for holiday attire has increased ten fold. There are so many adorable clothes for little ones. I get a great deal of enjoyment in buying Harry festive pajamas or a reindeer sweater. I had no idea that baby clothes would bring me such joy! I’m especially loving the holiday collection from Boden this season. They make the cutest kids clothes including these owl slippers that I bought for Harry. I really want a pair for myself! Macy’s also has really good sales and deep discounts on some of my favorite baby brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren and S. Rothschild (I love their baby coats and snowsuits).

Thanksgiving Cheese Board

Tis the season for Friendsgiving! Earlier this month our friends Kat and Jeremy hosted a friendsgiving dinner at their charming family farmhouse in Connecticut. Each guest was responsible to bring a dish. Kiel and I were assigned a charcuterie board. I was thrilled! I get a lot of enjoyment out of putting together a pretty spread. There are so many different ways to put a cheese board together and there’s really no right way to do it. For me it’s the ultimate pre-dinner snack.

Kiel posted a story of my board on his Instagram account and I received a lot of questions about it.

Cozy Mountain Weekend

This week we released our signature New England Tartan collection for Kiel James Patrick. This plaid will be used throughout our line. It’s a beautiful blend of all the colors of our celebrated seasons, traditions, memories, and the magic of the beloved place were are so proud to call home.
We shot these images while we were in Vermont. The foliage was at its peak and the cabin we rented for the weekend could not have been cozier. We spent our days exploring the area and our nights watching movies by the fire. Normally when I’m on vacation I love to go out to eat but we were content to stay in and order pizza. We also stocked up on food from the Woodstock Farmer’s Market. They have the best offering of wine and cheese and I really love their deli section.

My Favorite Winter Boots

Right after Halloween my thoughts immediately turn to winter. Kiel and I usually experience our first snowfall around Thanksgiving when we spend the holiday in New Hampshire with Kiel’s family. I love to stock up on winter essentials such as boots and knee socks a few weeks in advance of Black Friday to bring along on my trip.

Sezane in Scituate

This fall I’m really loving Sezane. The brand has become my new go to for staple pieces. The clothes are really well made and classic with a tailored fit. On most days I tend to wear some version of the outfit featured in this post– cozy sweater, jeans, loafers, and a wool coat to tie my look together. I tend to love a look that is put together but also comfortable. Sezane is great for both those everyday pieces and ensembles for the office.
