Month: October 2019
Happy Halloween from Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, and one adorable little croc! This might be my favorite Halloween costume yet mainly because of Bennie. I still can’t get over how she looked in this Captain Hook costume. I couldn’t stop laughing as we were getting her dressed. We definitely rewarded her afterwards. She’s always so good.
Sharing a few snaps from our most recent fall trip to Woodstock. See last years post here. I also created a list of what to see and do in this post. No matter how many times I visit, I cannot get over how perfect this little town is. Festively decorated homes and businesses, covered bridges, scenic mountain views, great restaurants, and the cutest little shops — there is something charming to be discovered around every corner.
Kiel brought home his dream truck a couple of weeks ago — a Ford F 100. We have brought it out on a few autumn adventures. Most recently a pumpkin patch. Harry is obsessed! He gets a kick out of sitting on daddy’s lap at the wheel and pressing the horn which makes a very cute beep sound.
Happy Friday! Today I’m posting a compilation of some of my favorite coats over the years. Winter and fall coats are my fashion weakness. Nothing ties an outfit together like the perfect coat. Shearling or faux fur coats are my favorite for keeping warm and cozy, while tailored camel menswear inspired coats tend to make my ensemble feel pulled together no matter how dressed down I am. For the holidays a dressy white coat always gets me excited to dress for the season. Below I shared a few of the coats I’m loving this season.
Excited to introduce one of our latest fall releases for Kiel James Patrick — the belted shift dress. I’m wearing the navy but it is also available in green. Designed to be worn alone — I can’t resist the added layer of warmth a silk blouse or turtleneck underneath will give. I purchased this scalloped silk blouse from Tory Burch last winter and loved the scallop detail on the collar and sleeves. It completely mixes up the look of this shift dress.
Halloween month is here! In September Kiel and I start off decorating our house with pumpkins and mums. Once October arrives the cornstalks, jack-o-lanterns, and indoor decorations come out (along with the pumpkin attire). We look forward to decorating for this season all year long.
It’s beginning to look a lot like fall in the city! I love exploring the East Side of Providence this time of year. Nothing quite like bundling up on the first crisp day. This season is all about layers and subtle accessories that really pull an outfit together.
