The Belted Shift Dress
October 14, 2019
Dress: Kiel James Patrick, Shirt: Tory Burch (similar), Shoes: Tory Burch (old) Bag: Vasic Earrings: Kenneth Jay Lane
Excited to introduce one of our latest fall releases for Kiel James Patrick — the belted shift dress. I’m wearing the navy but it is also available in green. Designed to be worn alone — I can’t resist the added layer of warmth a silk blouse or turtleneck underneath will give. I purchased this scalloped silk blouse from Tory Burch last winter and loved the scallop detail on the collar and sleeves. It completely mixes up the look of this shift dress. While this shirt is sold out, Sezane has a very similar style this season.
I tend to wear these shoes a lot in the fall and winter. They are another Tory Burch purchase from several years ago. I wish I had purchased an extra pair. Luckily they have held up really well. I find them to be flattering with just about everything in my closet. They are surprisingly comfortable for how high the heel is. This dress also looks great with boots for a more casual look.

It’s such a cute dress, Sara! I also love the blouse you are wearing underneath

Too short and ordinary. It might work for a high school/college student but not a professional.

Such a pretty dress and I really love the bag too!

I love this look! And the simplicity of the dress is so that the interesting collar and sleeves are really set off. And those shoes – very cute!

I love these dresses! I would definitely style one with a turtleneck underneath, or a ruffle neck shirt under it!! The belt on it, is perfect, and I love that you added that touch to the style! Happy October, Sarah! 🙂
