If you love a good summer Margarita, the Grilled Watermelon Margarita and the Smoked Blueberry Margarita recipes from Cointreau are amazing. I recently collaborated with Cointreau for a Margarita Monday post and thought I would share the full drink recipes and photos here. Each margarita recipe takes a little while to prepare but the results are very worth it.
Our annual summer family photo in front of our home has a few feathery cameos this year as old summer routines of new places and suitcases have given way to a backyard getaway. Surprisingly I am not minding one bit. Our new favorite trips are out on the porch to watch Harry and Bennie follow the chickens around the yard, or a walk to the garden to check on the progress of our flowers and vegetables. I love spending time at home whether it is working on projects that have been on my to do list forever, tending to the garden, or simply relaxing on the hammock with my family.
