Last month, Kiel and I attended the opening of the Ocean House Sipping terrace. This was our first social event in quite a long time and it was a breath of fresh air to be back at the Ocean House reconnecting with friends and familiar faces. The terrace is part of a special collaboration with SipSmith Gin offering guests a private dining experience, or afternoon tea, in a charming greenhouse decorated with lemon trees and bistro tables adorned with Portmeirion botanical dishes.

Happy June 1st — the unofficial first day of summer as far as I’m concerned. Summer’s arrival is always something to look forward to — longer nights, sundresses, and lots of outdoor adventures.
