Pool season is here! Excited to have our pool patio ready with Sunbrella for a long summer of family swims, cookouts, and outdoor movie nights. This space was under construction all of last summer and I’m thrilled to be able to enjoy it this year. I plan on relaxing on our comfy Pottery Barn Raylan Teak Outdoor Sofa made with Sunbrella fabric to unwind as much as I can.
I’m really pleased with the aesthetic of our pool patio, from the classic teak furniture to the green and white color scheme combined with splashes of pink geraniums, roses, and petunias. When I started envisioning what the space would look like I knew I wanted to keep everything green and white to match the look of our house. The first product I searched for were the umbrellas and I instantly fell in love with the One Kings Lane Phoebe Scallop-Edge Patio Umbrella in Green Stripe made with Sunbrella fabric. These became the focal point that brought all of our patio decor together including the white cushions made with Sunbrella fabric for our outdoor sofa and matching Pottery Barn Raylan Teak Outdoor Lounge Chair, dining chairs featuring Pottery Barn Piped Sunbrella Cushions, and preexisting loungers. White is always a bold color choice, but in this case it was a good base to allow the striped umbrellas and Sunbrella Thalia Fringed throw pillows from Frontgate to pop. Initially I worried that these might not be the best idea with two pups and a four year old, but in my Sunbrella fabric experience — they are always easy to clean whether you are dealing with muddy feet or a spilled drink. I maintain mine beautifully through quick touch ups or a light wash depending on how dirty they become.
I love investing in furniture and decor that I know our family can enjoy for years to come. It takes time to complete a space and I look for products that will last. While I love the wide range of beautiful fabric selections that Sunbrella offers, I especially love that each fabric is fade resistant. Our umbrellas, pillows, and cushions look just as vibrant as the very first day we brought them outdoors for the season. It’s such a nice feeling to put our summer furniture away at the end of the season knowing that it will be in great condition for the following year. I’ve waited all winter long to enjoy this space and so far this season is shaping up to be everything I dreamed it would be.
Special thanks to Sunbrella for sponsoring this post.
