Daffy Days

 Newport is in bloom! Kiel and I took these photos in a beautiful field of daffodils along the Cliff Walk behind Salve Regina University. The Cliff Walk is always a must see attraction if you are visiting the area for the first time, but it makes for an especially pretty walk when the daffodils make their appearance. Throughout the month of April, Newport celebrates Daffy Days. It’s a fun time to be in town to see the shops, local businesses, and homes dressed up for spring. I was sad to have missed the dog parade on Bannister’s Wharf last weekend but love the spirit of this season after a long winter. It’s also a treat to finally be able to dress for Spring in New England.
