There are fifty-one days left of winter. If you live in New England, winter temps realistically linger around until April. This means that from now until the ground finally thaws and the flowers bloom I will be wearing mostly sweaters and comfy jeans. Fifty-one days is a good amount of time, especially when scrolling through Instagram pics of others enjoying an early spring. The pictures above are some of my favorite sweaters from winter’s past. I tend to be drawn to nordic sweaters, cozy turtlenecks and cable knits.

Ice skating is one of the biggest perks of winter (in my opinion). We live on a lake and I can count the number of times I’ve gone ice skating in the past few years on one hand. I’m a little disappointed in myself … Ice skating is always so much fun! I tend to forget when it’s ten degrees outside.
