Amalfi Coast

The
Amalfi coast is heaven on earth! Positano had been on my bucket list
for a very long time. I was thrilled when I learned that it was going to
be one of our stops on a recent trip with Crystal Cruises. Our ship
docked in Naples and we drove almost two hours through windy mountain
roads, overlooking sheer cliffs, colorful villages built into the hillside,

and stunning vistas of the ocean.

During our
journey, we made stops in the towns of Amalfi, Ravello, and of course
Positano. Each place was special in its own right. In Ravello we
explored the Villa Rufolo and its beautiful gardens. In Positano we
walked up the narrow roads filled with charming shops and cafes to get a
glimpse of the entire village and Lattari Mountains. I think this might
be one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. Amalfi was a
gorgeous resort town with maritime roots. Limoncello seemed to be
offered everywhere!

What I really loved about
this experience was the short bond formed between the Crystal Cruise
team and guests. During our short trip we were a group of
new friends sharing a new experience. We had plenty of time to walk
around but it was nice to have a little background info on some of the
key spots we were seeing provided by a tour guide. The staff was very
accommodating when it came to taking pictures of the both of us!
While
our time on the Amalfi Coast was short, Kiel and I had just enough of a
taste where we know that we would want to return. I can’t think of a
better place to visit for a week or two during the summer!

Special thank you to Crystal Cruises for this amazing experience!

I just got the J.Crew wool trench coat last week. I was a bit disappointed with the material though. I have not wore it yet but I see a lot of people complain how hair and other things might stick to the coat after wearing it for just a day. Have you experienced that? Debating if I should return it or not…
