Holiday Traditions

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Trees like people grow strong with love. These photos were taken in 2010. 2013, and today. Every Thanksgiving Kiel and I go to New Hampshire to enjoy dinner with our family in the White Mountains. It’s the best way to start the holiday season. We always love when it snows as it has become a tradition of ours to decorate this outdoor Christmas tree that has grown quite large over the years. Next Thanksgiving we are really going to have to get a bigger ladder!
Almost as soon as the last plate of pie is cleared from the table, Thanksgiving ends and Christmas begins. I’m sharing a few Black Friday sales worth checking out this weekend.

Black Friday Sales:

Kiel James Patrick is kicking off the start of the holiday season by offering 25% off site wide until Monday. We have so many new items that we are really excited to share with everyone including our Cozy Cabin Flannel Collectionpet line, and hand-painted customizable leather phone cases. My favorite part about our new phone cases is that the monogram is part of the design.

J.Crew is having their biggest sale ever. Everything is 40% and it’s really hard to resist buying everything I want from the site. I bought this sweater for me and this jacket for Kiel and there are still quite a few things left in my shopping basket. I put together a few different items for him and her that I think will make for great gifts.

Tuckernuck is a great place to shop for all-american classic fashion and novelty home goods.  Their team does an amazing job of introducing gorgeous lesser known brands with classic brands such as Barbour. Today they are offering 20% off (with a few exclusions), 25% off orders over $500, and 30% off orders over $1000. Here are a few of my picks for her and him.

Other noteworthy sales:
