I’m finally starting to get excited for fall! The summer days are getting a little shorter, and the humid nights are making me long for crisp fall sleeping weather. I’m slowly starting to introduce new fall pieces to my wardrobe. Mainly items that I can continue to wear after I have the baby such as staple shoes, bags, and jackets.

It amazes me that Bermuda is only two hours away by plane, and seemingly worlds apart from New England. I love the colorful buildings, turquoise water, pink sand beaches, rocky outcrops, and lush tropical vegetation. For an island that is 22 miles long and roughly a mile wide (at its widest point it is 3 miles wide), there is so much to see and do.
When the Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club invited Kiel and me to stay for our babymoon, it was an offer we couldn’t refuse.

Sharing a couple of snapshots from a recent day in Jamestown. Kiel was shooting for Walker and Wade (check out their beautiful beach to table dresses), while I couldn’t resist playing with the pups.

Once August 1st arrives and the fall promotion emails start flooding my inbox, I’m always reminded of all the things I intended to do at the start of summer and never got around to — beach days, grilling recipes to try, an afternoon reading on my hammock, more dinners on the dock, blueberry picking, putting our boat in the water (I think at this point it might be more trouble than it’s worth). The season goes by so fast and I fully intend to make the most of August, which means more nights like the one featured in this post.
