How to Make Summer Last

Once August 1st arrives and the fall promotion emails start flooding my inbox, I’m always reminded of all the things I intended to do at the start of summer and never got around to — beach days, grilling recipes to try, an afternoon reading on my hammock, more dinners on the dock, blueberry picking, putting our boat in the water (I think at this point it might be more trouble than it’s worth). The season goes by so fast and I fully intend to make the most of August, which means more nights like the one featured in this post. We didn’t have time to cook, but pizza is always a simple and delicious solution. I can’ t think of a better place to enjoy it than on the dock while watching the sunset. I want to spend as much time outdoors as I possibly can before the weather turns cold. What is on your August bucket list?
