Palms and Pools

Location: The Brazilian Court Hotel

During our stay at the Brazilian Court Hotel, the pool was my fav0rite place to be. It was relatively busy during the day and at night right before sunset we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Situated in its’ own private courtyard, I found it tranquil and relaxing. On the first afternoon we spent a couple of hours swimming and enjoyed truffle fries and a turkey club on the patio.

I took these pictures right before dinner at Cafe’ Boulod. We were strolling Harry around in hopes that he would fall asleep for dinner and he did…for a little while. The restaurant, as I mentioned in an earlier post, is situated right in one of the hotel courtyards, but you can also eat indoors. It’s a beautiful place to be at night with the glowing lights and the sounds of the trickling water fountain. The food was amazing — the best meal during our entire trip. I had a filet with a side of charred broccoli, just the way I like it.
