Summer Days Drifting Away

Blazer: Theory (similar) Shirt: J.Crew (dress version) Shorts: J.Crew Sandals: Prada (sold out// also like this style) Bag: Aranaz Bracelet: Kiel James Patrick Earrings: Lisi Lerch c/o Glasses: Gucci

With August winding down and September on the horizon I’m really excited for fall. The humidity this summer has been brutal. I’ve been relishing the past couple of cool days that I know won’t last. While I’m more than ready to break out the cozy sweaters, flannels shirts, and riding boots I will realistically be wearing shorts and sundresses for at least another month. Fall weather always seems to creep in at the very last second.
For the in between season I love mixing darker florals with some of my summer staple pieces such as denim shorts or this linen blazer. The rich green hue of my shirt is a nod to the fall fashion that I crave and also light-weight enough to be suitable for a warm day. I really like how the shirt contrasts with the lighter color of my linen blazer. This blazer was purchased last spring and is one of my most worn purchases this season. It has since sold out but I linked a similar style that could be worn this Fall.

I am day dreaming about fall too. We recently moved back North, to DC, and I cannot wait to have seasons back in my life. In the mean time, I love your take on late summer style. That handbag is particularly lovely.
