Truth be told I love dressing for Valentine’s Day more than celebrating the actual holiday itself. Every day should be a reason to celebrate romance! I welcome any excuse to wear pink and red — one of my favorite color combos. I also love a good heart print. Dressing up for Valentine’s Day is always fun whether you are hanging out with your loved one, heading to work, or going out with friends. The bold colors and prints are a bright spot in the dead of winter.

I put together a few of my favorite pieces perfect for the holiday below. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect length red skirt (not too short or long) and bought this one on sale for $49. I also could not resist this belt. I think it’s a really pretty piece to match with dresses and skirts all season long.

I agree I love dressing in feminine pinks and reds for and around Valentine’s Day. I find it’s a great way to start getting into the spring season!
