I bought this dress online for Easter and I really love the way it looks. It has quickly become one of my favorite new pieces to wear this spring. I’ve worn it on a few different occasions and love the puffed sleeves, longer length, and pretty lace pattern. I shot this post at the Chanler Hotel in Newport before heading inside for a night of Sip and Script at the Newport Ladies Book Club. The book for this month was Where the Crawdad Sing. I fully expected to attend without finishing the book but once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. It’s a very interesting and well written coming of age story. The narrative jumps between the past and present –a young girl who lived many years alone in the marsh is on trial for the murder of a small town football hero and former quarterback. This book has been on the bestseller list for weeks and it does not disappoint.
