Fall in New England is a special time. I look forward to dressing for this season all year long. Cozy sweaters, warm colors, and rich textures are a must for a classic fall wardrobe. Whether you are building upon your fall wardrobe or adding a piece or two to spice up what you already have in your closet — these pieces will perfect your classic autumnal look.
1. Plaid Coat: Mix up an otherwise neutral outfit with a touch of plaid. This added layer lends a timeless appeal to any ensemble.
2. Mules: The first time I came across these stylish, croc embossed mules I knew I had to have them. I have been wearing mine with jeans but they honestly look great with everything. This croc effect style is also available in heels, booties, and knee high boots. These are very much a splurge.
3. Jeans: Love the wash and fit of these. Not too tight and hits perfectly above the ankle.
4. Sweater Dress: We recently released these dresses for Kiel James Patrick. It has instantly become a fall favorite of mine as it makes getting dressed in the morning really easy. Wear it with a pair of riding boots for a look that is effortlessly put together.
5. Bag: The shade of leather and oversized buckle make this structured bag a truly beautiful piece. I have had my eye on this bag for a while now. While I have a few bags in this same shade I love the boxy look of this one. This just might be my next bag purchase!
 6. Dress: A floral patterned dress is great for dressing up a fall wardrobe. I love the sleeves and collar on this dress. Wear it with colored tights and heels, or riding boots and a tweed jacket.
7. Bucket Bag: I truly cannot resist a saddle colored bag. This classic bag has very minimal hardware which I adore. It’s the perfect size for carrying everyday necessities. I love the simplistic look of it.
8. Boots: No fall wardrobe is complete without a pair of wellies. I have worn my green Hunter boots so much over the years. It’s probably one of my most worn shoes. They are great for apple picking, pumpkin picking, and trekking through muddy fields while enjoying all of the fall things.
9. Cords: Jeans are my go to for everyday wear but a well fitting pair of cords are a nice pant option for festive fall excursions. I love this high rise pair to wear with fitted flannel shirts, turtlenecks, and fluffy sweaters.
10. Sweater: Everlane is well known for their great quality and affordable basics. This sweater is available in 9 different colors.  It’s really hard to choose just one as all of them are beautiful. I purchased the heather grey last spring and wore it constantly. It’s light weight, yet warm and cozy.
11. Bag: Another bag on my wish list. This vintage inspired design by Little Liffner adds a touch of elegance to any look. Pair it with a fall floral dress or jeans, kitten heels, and a cashmere turtleneck sweater.
12. Herringbone Blazer: One of my most recent purchases — I have been on the hunt for an oversized blazer for long time. This blazer will look great over a dress or with a pair of jeans and a light sweater under it.
13. Shirt: The collar and cuff on this shirt are delicate and feminine for wearing underneath dresses or sweaters. I love wearing a top like this under a shift dress or with a skirt.
14. Blouse: Every wardrobe needs at least one jewel toned piece. I love the rich hue of this tie-neck blouse. It would look beautiful under a structured wool coat with dressy pants and heels
15. Alpaca Cardigan: This is another recent purchase of mine. I love the shade and buttons on this cardigan.
16. Flannel Dress: Our Kiel James Patrick flannel dress is one of our most popular items to date. Like our sweater dress, it is really easy to wear and is quintessentially fall. It’s a festive piece that really gets me in the mood for the season.
17. Loafers: Embossed croc is having a moment and I’m loving it. Mansur Gavriel has the most beautiful leather products and this shoe is a gorgeous new addition to their fall collection. I love the narrow shape.
18. Skirt : There are only a handful of sizes left in this skirt online. I purchased it for an upcoming collaboration and have worn it with a sweater, wide belt, and saddle colored flats. The length is perfect and unexpected.
19. Coat:  Oversized and cozy this coat is basically the equivalent of wearing a fuzzy blanket. It’s great for keeping warm while exploring quaint, country towns or picking up mums. I would wear this with a pair of jeans and a casual button down shirt or sweater.
20. Booties: These suede booties are beautifully crafted and ideal for everyday wear that is casual yet stylish.
