Lakehouse Bathroom

Dress: Zara (sold out), Sandals: Zara, Bracelets: Kiel James Patrick, Van Cleef & Arpels
Last year Kiel and I remodeled one of the bathrooms at our lake house and I’m sharing the results here today. It was a project we had a lot of fun with creatively. I’ve been wanting a swan faucet since forever and it happened to fit in perfectly with this space after we had the patterned tiles installed. The bathroom originally had two large sinks and the overall look was very 70’s — there was even a brown shag carpet on the floor. The original walls were a combo of tiles and outdated wallpaper. We replaced the tile and wallpaper with shiplap and painted everything white for a fresh new look. I wish I had taken pictures of the before. The difference is night and day. We took out one of the the larger sinks with a vanity cabinet that was directly next to the bath tub and put in a freestanding tiny sink with just a small mirror in it’s place. The bathroom is long and narrow, we tried to get the most out of the space by eliminating bulkier fixtures and adding shelves for towels, etc.
On Instagram I partnered with Micro Cotton Towels to give away two sets of Hotel Collection Ultimate Micro Cotton Towels from Macy’s. The giveaway ends on 4/21. Head to my post here to enter. The towels are honestly as plush and soft as they look. Classic white towels are the perfect addition to any bathroom. These are eco-friendly and feel just as luxurious as the towels at a five star hotel.
I also wanted to make note of how much I’m loving cut forsythia branches for indoor vases. In New England, only a few types of flowers have bloomed and these really brighten up my home and get me in a spring state of mind.

Such a beautiful space! Thanks for sharing especially in these hard times. I enjoy your content as a New Englander living in Italy, it’s nice to feel a little closer to home. It always makes me happy and nostalgic to see your posts ♥️ Where did you find the swan faucet? So cool and unique. Keep safe and wishing you all the best 🙏🏻

So gorgeous, love the remodel! Question! What color do you ask for at the hair salon/the method used? Or is it natural? I love it!
