Autumn Tablescape

I’ve always wished Thanksgiving were a month earlier to enjoy dinner outdoors. I can’t think of any backdrop more beautiful than the autumn foliage putting on its best display. There’s something magical about eating al fresco on a mild autumn day with the leaves dancing in the air as they glide to the lawn. In New England, the leaves are long gone by the time Thanksgiving arrives.
I had the best time putting this tablescape together in collaboration with Sunbrella. The runner and napkins were custom made using Sunbrella fabrics Elegance Marble and Canvas Rust.  I decorated the table with small pumpkins and dried eucalyptus for garland. I wanted to keep the theme very autumnal and even included a few vibrantly colored leaves. The plates and glassware remained simple to allow the decor and fabrics to stand out. I love how the tall tapered candlesticks and pumpkin napkin rings pulled the look I was going for together.
The Sunbrella runner and napkins were the base for creating this tablescape. Sunbrella fabrics always have a beautiful texture and I love how the patterns combined with the texture gave added dimension to the decor. Plus, the fabrics were perfect for an outdoor tablescape because they are stain resistant, so unexpected spills won’t be an issue.
I’m looking forward to using these pieces throughout the years. Sunbrella fabrics hold up beautifully over time and are really easy to clean making them the perfect choice for my autumn table runner and napkins.
Special thanks to Sunbrella for sponsoring this post.

I totally agree in that I wish thanksgiving was earlier so we could enjoy the fall weather and a beautiful dinner al fresco! I say just make your own little family tradition of a thanksgiving inspired dinner in October, that way you could celebrate twice 🙂
