The J.Crew Quilted Collection

When it comes to building my fall wardrobe, J.Crew has always been a go to for purchasing new staples. I was really excited to partner with them to showcase a few pieces from their new Quilted Collection in this latest post. As I have mentioned many times before — I just love dressing for fall. The colors, textures, and layers upon layers make getting dressed in the morning something to look forward to. The quilted vest and coats are the perfect base to create looks around especially since I always gravitate towards items I know are going to keep me warm throughout the day.

With a classic wardrobe it is easy to mix and match accessories or staples to create looks that are more elevated. A vest worn over a blazer or a simple belt over a coat can instantly make a basic fall outfit stylish. I especially adore the blazer over a vest. My biggest problem with blazers is that on cold days it’s nearly impossible to comfortably wear a jacket over them and a blazer alone is never warm enough. The quilted vest worn over a blazer is both warm and comfy yet adds a little something extra to the look. If you couldn’t tell already, look 2 is my favorite but I love them all!
