This weekend was perfect for staying in and watching movies — cold and rainy. Kiel and I worked on a lot of projects around the house and tried out a couple of delicious fall recipes. We were inspired to make the Autumn mix after seeing a picture on Pinterest 🙂

Netflix teamed up with 250 coffee shops nationwide today and turned them into Luke’s Diner complete with signs, aprons, logo cups, and backwards baseball caps in honor of the 16th anniversary of Gilmore Girls first episode airing and in anticipation of the revival episodes (November 25th!). Gilmore Girls is my absolute favorite show and I could not resist waking up extra early this morning to enjoy my very own cup of Luke’s legendary coffee at Lasalle Bakery.

Fall would not be complete without a day of apple picking. We usually wait until the weather is just crisp enough to wear our favorite flannels and boots. This year we went with Carly, Garrett and the pups to Barden Family Orchard.
