Last month Kiel and I went to NYC for a textile show with our Kiel James Patrick team. While we were there I couldn’t resist stopping into Sezane. We always love staying at the Bowery Hotel and I was excited to learn that the Nolita location was only a short five minute walk away. Over the past couple of years I have purchased many of my wardrobe staples on their online website. It was exciting to see the brand come to life in brick and mortar form. The store was everything I hoped it would be — clean and easy to shop with the effortless Parisian chic style that customers have come to expect.
Back to winter attire today with another one of my daily looks. The skirt featured was purchased at Sezane earlier this fall and has since sold out. I linked a similar skirt from the brand that could also work with this look, along with this skirt. Typically I only wear corduroy skirts or pants right up until Christmas because I have it in my head that corduroy is only meant for fall when it certainly works for winter as well.
I miss wearing dresses everyday (and driving around in this mini Moke)! Warm weather attire is always a breeze when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. I wore this Zimmerman dress during my trip to St. Barth’s last month. The cinched waist, button details, fit, and balloon sleeves made it an instant favorite for this upcoming spring/summer season.
