We recently attended our friend Matt’s wedding in Nantucket, and stayed at the Woof Cottages (part of Nantucket Island Resorts that includes The Wauwinet, The White Elephant, Jared Coffin House, and the Nantucket Cottages). We love bringing Bennie along on our trips and were happy to have her with us for the weekend. She loves the island! I honestly can’t think of a better place to bring a dog.

It was cold and rainy the entire weekend, Kiel and I were very content spending part of the trip cozy inside. All of the cottages are perfectly situated by the water and the views are beautiful. It’s has all of the makings for a quintessential New England getaway. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping against the building. Our pet friendly cottage had a dog bed, dog bowls, and we were left with a goodie bag of toys for Bennie. She was one happy pup!

Rain or shine, I’ll take any weekend in Nantucket. The wedding was beautiful and Bennie even made a new friend, Sophie the Cape Cod Pup. (See pictures of Bennie’s first trip to Nantucket here)

Don't you just love bringing your pup on trips? It really makes it such a great getaway when everyone can come. Bennie poses so well! She looks so cute in all those photos and seems so well behaved! My dog sees a camera and will turn around and walk away!

  It's the best! We always feel bad leaving her with someone else. Bennie goes everywhere with us. She's really well behaved and definitely loves the camera. We are really lucky she will pose!

Bennie looks so cute with her new friend and I love how chill she is in the boat 🙂 Checking out those cottages – they look so dreamy. Is Nantucket just as nice to visit in the Fall? I'm trying to plan a trip for October!
