Last week Kiel and I headed to Nantucket for a magical evening with Goop and Ketel One Botanical for the Goop by the Sea clambake. The intimate dinner was hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow and prepared by celebrity chef Curtis Stone.
It was a gorgeous scene. The clambake was prepared in the traditional New England way — roasted by fire. Guests enjoyed raw oysters and Ketel One Botanical spritzer cocktails that were not only pretty to look at (garnished with edible flowers and fresh fruit) but so crisp and tasty. If you want to impress house guests this is definitely the drink to offer. I received a lot of questions in my stories about the cocktail and the recipe for the Botanical Spritz is 1.5 oz of any botanical varietal and 3 oz of Soda Water. Garnish with fruit, cucumbers, rosemary, and edible flowers. Very easy to make.
I should note that my experience/posts for this gathering were sponsored by Ketel One Botanical. I additionally and separately want to highlight that the purple cashmere sweater I’m wearing was only $128 after sale price and the 40% off discount that Ralph Lauren is currently offering. They typically sell for $398. I couldn’t resist snagging this purple one and a yellow one while I was on the island.
