Antique Bottle Vases
Dress: Lela Rose c/o Belt: Sezane, Hat: Wyeth, Sandals: Carrie Forbes
Summer days are quickly winding down. I’m loving the gorgeous variety of end of summer flowers — zinnias, dahlias, and sunflowers big and small. We use vintage milk bottles to arrange flowers around the house. I find the bottles to be really charming and perfect for holding anything from a couple of stems to a dozen. Between our chickens and the garden we have had plenty of eggs and vegetables to share with family and friends. I get so much enjoyment out of gifting them with baskets that include eggs, veggies, and one of our milk bottle flower arrangements.
The dress I’m wearing is a beautiful piece from the Lela Rose Pre Fall 2020 Collection. I don’t think I have ever put on a better fitting dress. I absolutely love everything about it. I paired it with three of my most worn items — my Wyeth straw hat, Carrie Forbes Raffia sandals, and belt from Sezane. I wear so many of my everyday looks with the Sezane belt and it is certainly an accessory I can continue to wear throughout the fall and winter.

Your blog is impeccable!! I also appreciate the cheerfulness every picture conveys, much needed in this stress filled Covid time
My daughters best friend as an infant to her early teens was a golden retriever the same color as the one in your pictures. He was given to me with name “Rusty”, I left it as he was a beautiful red. Now that my daughter has graduated college and looking for her own home, I would like to give her one as a gift. However, it seems everyone has gone mad over the English Creme and the only reds we have found are in the smaller hunting line. I hope it’s not inappropriate to ask, but I would love to find a breeder for a golden in the coat and color of this one in your picturesThank you, for your time
