It feels a bit premature to categorize this post as Spring, but since we are nearly a week away I thought it fitting for this wishy-washy end of New England winter. On Friday, when I took these pictures, it was a beautiful day in Newport. The weather was in the mid fifties and perfect for a light coat, sweater, and skirt ensemble. Kiel and I had a couple of meetings in town and it was really nice to walk down Thames St. and around the wharf.
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! I always look forward to this holiday. For me it serves as a prelude to spring. The weather outside inches closer towards warmer (more tolerable) temps just in time for the local parades. It’s the perfect opportunity to dress festively in shades of green and clovers and to eat lots of corn beef & cabbage. I’m really excited that this year the celebrations are back on. The Newport parade will be held on the 12th and the Boston parade is on the 20th. I shared a few parade worthy pieces from our Kiel James Patrick St.
