Mother’s Day is extra special for me this year now that I have Harry. Being a new mom has given me such a fresh perspective on life. I have so much more appreciation for my mother and all mothers in general. There are so many sacrifices, little and big, that moms make on a daily basis for their children out of pure love.

Last week we escaped the cold and headed to sunny Florida to shoot a special new collection for our brand. On the first leg of our journey we stayed a couple of days at the historic Brazilian Court Hotel. The boutique hotel is perfectly tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walking distance to Worth Avenue.
Falconry, horseback riding on the beach, and a salt marsh tour are a handful of the activities we enjoyed on Sea Island. I was really excited when I learned the resort offered a private Hawk Walk to guests. It’s such a neat experience to go out with the raptors — the owl is an insanely gorgeous creature.

Across the street from Via Mizner in Palm Beach, is the prettiest blue doorway surrounded by gorgeous pink flowers. There is beauty around every corner on this small island from the mosaic tile stairways, to stone fountains, and hidden courtyards bursting with flowers. Palm Beach has an old world charm with a Mediterranean Flair.
