Harry’s Nursery

Today I’m sharing images from Harry’s nursery. We took these photos last summer. Harry has grown so much since then! He can almost climb out of the crib these days. I have a feeling we will be purchasing a toddler bed very soon!
For Harry’s room we really wanted to keep the theme traditional. We went with a color scheme of green, navy, and natural hues. It’s very much a little boy’s room. There’s a little bit of everything from safari to woodland animals and nautical motifs. I find it hard to stick to a specific theme as there are so many cute baby toys and decor out there. In Harry’s room you will find a little bit of everything! The curtains were a purchase from Country Curtains (I’m so sad they went out of business). We bought the crib and dresser from One Kings Lane. Sadly Puffin had a field day with the dresser and we tried repairing it as best as we could. Never buy raffia furniture if you have cats. It more or less becomes a scratching post that they cannot resist. The rocking chair is from Anthropologie. We had the Container Store install his closet. It’s so much easier to organize with the different compartments and shelves. I also love to display his lion and elephant felt slippers from Sew Heart Felt. They were a gift from a friend and I still can’t get over how adorable they are!

I love this nursery! Simple and so perfect for a little boy. And yes, I’m sad to see Country Curtains go, too. They had wonderful things.

I’ll have to check them out! We had a Country Curtains store really close to us. It was nice to just pop into the store to see what they had available. Thank you!

So lovely…..it seems that Country Curtains is resurfacing at the Vermont Country Store. Not branded to CC but sure looks like the same merch to this long time fan.
