Today is Harry’s first birthday! How fast a year flies by! It’s been incredible to watch him grow. I want to document every second so that it can never be forgotten. He loves to hold onto Bennie when he walks and finds it hilarious to try and feed bits of his food to others.

I never saw a plaid coat I didn’t like! Plaid is always my go to pattern this season especially with the holidays quickly arriving. I have a closet stocked with flannels, button downs, and of course my Kiel James Patrick cozy cabin dresses to warm up the coldest days.
The Nightmare Before Halloween
Halloween is quickly creeping upon us! Finding the perfect costume doesn’t have to be a nightmare. Today I’m sharing some of my looks from the past few years in addition to costume ideas that I’ve come across on the internet and really love. The DIY projects always amaze me. Some costumes are so simple to put together and yet so brilliant.

Since I was little I can always remember my mother’s display of glass perfume bottles on her dresser. She never left the house without a spritz of her favorite perfume and switched up her scent according to the season. Her perfume always reminds me of home — jasmine in the summer and roses during the winter. It wasn’t until I was a little older that I adopted the same practice of alternating my perfumes.
