Scenes from our recent trip to Dame Farm for blueberries and flowers. We brought home a few too many blueberries. I’ve been eating them all week. Many of you shared a lot of tasty blueberry recipes on my last IG post. Some of my favorites included Greek yogurt blueberry oat muffins, blueberry mojitos, and the Half Baked Harvest lemon blueberry cake.

Date Night at Chanticleer is always a dream! It’s been a couple of years since our last visit, Kiel and I always love to sneak away for a meal here when we visit Nantucket. Charming and romantic, the restaurant is well known for it’s beautiful atmosphere, great food and drinks. We love to sit outdoors to admire the Rose Garden.
Scenes from a summer soirée. The return of social gatherings this summer has been a breath of fresh air. I don’t think I will ever take time spent with family and friends for granted. It’s been wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces for small talk, deep conversations, and everything in between. I’m planning to enjoy a low key 4th of July by the lake this year, but hope to have more nights like these in the weeks to come.
Last month, Kiel and I attended the opening of the Ocean House Sipping terrace. This was our first social event in quite a long time and it was a breath of fresh air to be back at the Ocean House reconnecting with friends and familiar faces. The terrace is part of a special collaboration with SipSmith Gin offering guests a private dining experience, or afternoon tea, in a charming greenhouse decorated with lemon trees and bistro tables adorned with Portmeirion botanical dishes.Read More
Spring has sprung at the Shire! Kiel and I took these family photos a couple of days before Easter at the Hobbit Hole at the Preserve in Rhode Island. A few months back we had the pleasure of eating inside the hobbit hole with friends for dinner. The inside is as cozy as you can imagine, especially when there is a fire roaring, candles lit on the table, and cozy fur blankets draped on the chairs.Read More
Introducing my favorite sweater this season — the Garden Bee Sweater. It’s the perfect light-weight cotton linen sweater for spring days that are warm in the sun and cool in the shade. I just love the slightly marled knit on the green sweater combined with the bee and floral embroidered design.Read More

Bennie and Maple have taken over Harry’s bedroom and intend to snuggle in until Spring. I can’t say that I blame them! Harry’s bed is extra cozy. Sharing a glimpse of Harry’s space today. It’s very fitting for the adventures of a little boy and his two furry companions. Kiel and I love antique shopping for unique furniture and decor finds including his bed, the toy chest, and animal heads. We love to combine old pieces that have lots of character with newer finds, the anchor lamp for example is from Target.Read More

January often feels like the Monday of the year, but I’ve learned that it doesn’t have to be. New England winters can be long and cold yet there are plenty of things to enjoy in the days and months ahead.
