Harry’s Nursery
Today I’m sharing images from Harry’s nursery. We took these photos last summer. Harry has grown so much since then! He can almost climb out of the crib these days. I have a feeling we will be purchasing a toddler bed very soon!
For Harry’s room we really wanted to keep the theme traditional. We went with a color scheme of green, navy, and natural hues. It’s very much a little boy’s room. There’s a little bit of everything from safari to woodland animals and nautical motifs.

Yesterday’s warmer weather was a very welcome surprise. I couldn’t resist dressing up for the first time in weeks. I wore our new Kiel James Patrick sweetheart dress with the bow detached and a silk blouse underneath.
The Sweetheart Dress
Last week Kiel and I spent a great deal of time preparing for our annual Kiel James Patrick Valentine’s Day shoot and the launch of our Sweetheart Dress Collection. Our new bow shift dress comes in three different colors — blue, pink, and mint green. The bows are detachable for a subtle look. I personally love the way the dresses look when worn with our Audrey Necklace.

Ocean House Fondue Express
This winter the Ocean House is offering a really unique experience for hotel guests — an authentic fondue dinner for up to four people in a vintage ski gondola. Romantic and cozy, the Veuve Clicquot gondola is lined with faux fur blankets and alpine motif pillows. Guests have the option to borrow a ski coat for extra warmth. The first weekend of December, Kiel and I stayed at the hotel on a press trip to celebrate the opening of the gondola.

Truth be told I love dressing for Valentine’s Day more than celebrating the actual holiday itself. Every day should be a reason to celebrate romance! I welcome any excuse to wear pink and red — one of my favorite color combos.

It’s been a relatively mild winter in New England. I really want snow and all of the beauty a winter wonderland brings but I’m also content with these slightly warmer temps.

The Mount Washington Hotel has always slightly reminded me of the iconic Timberline Lodge, the famously eerie hotel filmed in the movie The Shining. It’s grand and beautiful in a way that only old hotels can be. Over the years Kiel and I have stayed at the Mount Washington, located in New Hampshire, numerous times. It’s one of our favorite places to recharge and feel inspired. They also throw a fabulous New Year’s Eve party!

On Christmas Eve I hosted a small fondue dinner for my family. I wanted to try a meal that is a little different than what we normally do — a traditional roast or spiral ham. I thought a fondue would be a fun novelty for everyone to enjoy. Last winter Kiel and I experienced an amazing fondue on top of a mountain in Utah, and a few weeks ago we had a beautiful fondue dinner at the Ocean House to celebrate the opening of the Veuve Clicquot Fondue Express.
