Introducing the most whimsical hobbit hole at the Preserve in Richmond, RI. I couldn’t help thinking that it was something out of fairytale when I first laid eyes upon it. The hobbit hole was a spring paradise covered in daffodils, tulips, and hyacinth.

I love a good charcuterie board. Mine are typically made up of cheese and prosciutto, two things I always have to have in my fridge, but a breakfast board brings the charcuterie board concept to an entire new level. Kiel prepared this breakfast board for me on Mother’s Day, with a little help from Harry. It included everything I could ever want for breakfast — pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, bacon, whipped cream, and a side of mimosas.

Happy Friday! Excited to share our latest release from Kiel James Patrick — our Rose’ All Day crewneck. I can’t get enough of rose’ in the summer and for me this is the perfect sweatshirt for brisk nights on our front porch swing or by the water. It’s one of the most comfortable sweatshirts I own.

Meet the newest addition to our family — a flock of baby Isa Brown chickens. Kiel and I have wanted to raise chickens for a while and now seemed like the perfect time to finally do it. Some of my fondest early childhood memories were spent at my grandmother’s house helping her feed her pet chickens and rabbits.

Last year Kiel and I remodeled one of the bathrooms at our lake house and I’m sharing the results here today. It was a project we had a lot of fun with creatively. I’ve been wanting a swan faucet since forever and it happened to fit in perfectly with this space after we had the patterned tiles installed.

Quarantine Day 27 — I truthfully cannot remember what day it is or how long it’s been since things have felt normal. I have a feeling even when things return to “normal’” they won’t exactly be the normal any of us remember. Kiel and I are keeping positive and passing the time by staying busy with work and hanging with Harry. Harry has no idea of what’s going on in the world and for him every day is a new adventure.

Since our St. Barth’s trip in January, Harry has been obsessed with going to the beach and seeing boats. He asks to go for a ride and see them on a daily basis. As none are really in the water this time of year we took a drive to an empty boatyard a few weeks ago.
