Reading Room Makeover
Chair// Dog Bed// Curtain Fabric // Robins Stripe Azure Fabric // Rienzo Indigo fabric // Botanical Spa Pillow Fabric // Floral CornFlower Fabric
Ever since I was little I have always wanted a room filled with books and my own cozy reading nook. The den in our house (featured in these pictures) fulfills that childhood goal of mine. We recently updated the space in collaboration with Sunbrella and I love the way it came together.

Shirt: Kiel James Patrick // Overalls: Gap, Shoes: Tory Burch (old, similar), Necklace: Kiel James Patrick
Our Greenhouse is ready for Easter Weekend! We filled it with blooms for a couple of recent Kiel James Patrick spring photoshoots. The site of this space filled with flowers always makes me so happy! I brought the daffodils and tulips outdoors to decorate our front porch and chicken coop.
First Day of Spring
Sweater: Kiel James Patrick, Dress: Doen (old, similar), Shoes: Sarah Flint
Happy first day of Spring from a few of my furry friends! I always look forward to this day after a long winter. I loved spending the day at home around the yard. We have slowly been reacquainting one of our male bunnies (Cadbury) with his siblings. He hasn’t take too well with the others since getting him fixed and I have been working on getting them used to one another again.

It feels a bit premature to categorize this post as Spring, but since we are nearly a week away I thought it fitting for this wishy-washy end of New England winter. On Friday, when I took these pictures, it was a beautiful day in Newport.
St. Patrick’s Day Family Style
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! I always look forward to this holiday. For me it serves as a prelude to spring. The weather outside inches closer towards warmer (more tolerable) temps just in time for the local parades. It’s the perfect opportunity to dress festively in shades of green and clovers and to eat lots of corn beef & cabbage. I’m really excited that this year the celebrations are back on. The Newport parade will be held on the 12th and the Boston parade is on the 20th.
Fall Pool Patio
Outdoor Sofa // Lounger Chair // Umbrellas // Chair Cushions // Moss Outdoor Throw Pillows // (All c/o of Sunbrella)
The summer season has unexpectedly extended into fall. Normally my pool is closed right after Labor Day weekend, but with the unseasonably warm temperatures we decided to enjoy it for a while longer. The patio underwent a complete makeover this summer. We replaced the cement surrounding the pool with bluestone, added new stairs, and replaced the section of our fence that was chain link with a spindle fence that is built into our existing stonewall.

Pictures from our annual family apple picking trip this year at Barden Family Orchard. This past September has been unseasonably warm and we went on the first cool day at the very end of the month. Traditions are important to our family and we especially love our fall traditions.

Scenes from our recent trip to Dame Farm for blueberries and flowers. We brought home a few too many blueberries. I’ve been eating them all week. Many of you shared a lot of tasty blueberry recipes on my last IG post. Some of my favorites included Greek yogurt blueberry oat muffins, blueberry mojitos, and the Half Baked Harvest lemon blueberry cake.
Date Night at Chanticleer
Sweater: Ralph Lauren, Skirt: Ralph Lauren, Sandals: Mansur Gavriel, Bag: Staud
Date Night at Chanticleer is always a dream! It’s been a couple of years since our last visit, Kiel and I always love to sneak away for a meal here when we visit Nantucket. Charming and romantic, the restaurant is well known for it’s beautiful atmosphere, great food and drinks. We love to sit outdoors to admire the Rose Garden.
